🥂 The Clink Charity Ball

March 13 @ 7:00 pm11:30 pm

🥂 Silver Sword appearance: we will be teaching sabrage at The Clink Charity Ball!

Many of you will have heard of The Clink Charity, which runs public restaurants in prisons and provides prison-leavers with opportunities to gain new skills and qualifications in hospitality, catering, and horticulture.

We’re delighted to announce that we have been been given a fabulous opportunity to support The Clink this year, by attending and teaching sabrage at their annual Charity Ball, which will take place on Friday 13th March 2026 at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London. This legendary night of fun and philanthropy will raise vital funds to support the Charity’s work in reducing reoffending rates through delivering hospitality training in prison, and support upon release to help graduates find accommodation and full-time employment.

The reception kicks off at 6:45 p.m. with sparkling wine and canapés prepared and cooked by Clink students the Charity’s Herne Hill production kitchen. This will be followed by a delicious five-course meal prepared and served by the hotel team alongside The Clink’s chef trainers, with bread and petits fours from the Clink Bakery at HMP Brixton. The evening will be hosted by actor, comedian, and presenter Tim Vine, alongside the one and only Vic Laws MBE, the Charity’s Group Ambassador. There will be live musical entertainment from The Executives (so plenty of opportunities for dancing), and a silent auction and table raffle with fabulous prizes generously contributed by sponsors and supporters. There will also be an opportunity to hear from several Clink graduates about how the scheme has helped transform their lives.

Silver Sword members are eligible for discounted association-rate tickets, which are currently £175 per person, or £1,650 for a table of ten. You can perform sabrage for a charitable donation of £70 per person, and you will get to keep your bottle of English sparkling wine, so we’re sure you’ll agree it’s well worth it!

We really hope that you’ll come and join us for what will be a highly memorable evening. As this is an event that we are attending rather than directly organising, we’re asking members to book in directly here.

Let us know if you’re coming, so we can all sit together!
